Specific Responsibilities:
The Electrician II, for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache s South District team at the company s Crane, TX, office reporting to the Dusty Coats. This role will be primarily responsible for the following: Troubleshoot, Install and/or replace electrical equipment including reclosers, voltage regulators, transformers, capacitors, cut outs, arrestors, crossarms, and other powerline related equipment. Maintain inventory and equipment logs on truck and any other pertinent equipment Consults with vendors on the design and installation of new electrical equipment Purchase new equipment when necessary Interpret schematics for electrical systems Must possess a high level of knowledge and competence in regard to High Voltage Substation work ranging up to 13. 8 KV with associated duties of switching, transferring loads, trouble shooting and maintenance and repair of all related switchgear. Must possess knowledge of high voltage power line construction, maintenance and repair, including transformer sizing and installation. Must be computer literate and able to utilize basic programs Participate appropriately on asset management teams in concert with technical groups and other field personnel in order to optimize operation efficiency and promote safety Track weekly usage of contract electrical crews. All other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Professional Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
5 years related experience with a High School diploma or equivalent. Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and other PC based computer applications. Excellent communication and grammar skills, exhibited both in conversation and written materials

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
